RED founder Jim Jannard gets prosumer Scarlet 'Error'

By Joseph L. Flatley 2010 posted October 5th 12: 09 PM perhaps there should be no surprise, considering the heartbreaking delays (and $ 1,000 price bump) already suffered the scarlet, but it looks like the project a major shift in is undergoing, konzentrieren-- namely, it is no longer focus on semi professionals. EOS HD quotes RED founder Jim Jannard thusly:
the concept of RED was a camera with as much as possible... for the professional market to build. Then we thought that we could expand it down a bit on the prosumer level. Apparently, this was a mistake.
He also says that "Many companies [are] sale cameras prosumer (short for"almost right") dedicated." "We're not one of you be." And later, "we had no idea what we're doing..." "Nothing works as it should." Ouch. Although we respect the man candor (if his glasses), it's hard to say exactly what it all means: the Scarlet is camera that completely sunk (probably not) or only prices (well-heeled) consumers regard? So or so, you can remove us bummed officially consider.
