echo feelings of Sprint's senior VP of networks from last month, CEO Dan Hesse said that the company Goodnight to his aging push to talk network-iDEN-say that is, inherited it from its acquisition Nextel some years ago, "just like 1 g was shut down." The difference between 1 G mobile and iDEN is of course keep iDEN or a very unique position in the market for wireless: although it sucks for data, it is really the only popular and successful way route push to talk over a cell network of any kind. For this purpose, that is companies actively keep bids, from CDMA 1 X extended now to build that others go in converting their PTT services over CDMA-based technology, the company which have the (already the first attempt, QChat, failed) allow. In the meantime Hesse says that companies that put their marketing efforts most thats in winning customers to its CDMA ether, not its iDEN ones in the hope, that you able to transition to smooth and be free iDEN spectrum for other services will.
