Apple lawyers finally goes Meizu, or so it seems

By Darren Murph 2010 posted October 4th 11: 34 pm Mon, let's all color us shocked at once. It will be fun. We promise. If you rock bottom home the last ten years or so have you may have missed a Chinese outfit called Meizu. For all intents and purposes, the company has done its darnedest copying Apple in any way, in particular with the software on its M8 and M9 smartphones. Strangely, we have heard confirmation never Cupertino's best lawyers of Meizu's breathing were neck... until now. As the story goes, Meizu CEO Jack of Wong's forum postings have been pretty late tense, and in particular seems to explain why: Apple's all in his grill. The details are under a fair bit pent-up anger hidden, but what is clear is a mention of Apple's lawyers and their "unreasonable negotiating tactics." Essentially, Jack finds it absurd that Apple could claim rights to the touchscreen Smartphone form factor and while Apple only relatively few in China could serve, (obviously) expects Meizu far more to serve. We do not claim to be sad in Jack's name - we mean, the guy had come - but we can shake the impending depression, when thinking of a world with no future Meizu devices to to giggle.
