Toshiba shelves OLED production plans, focused on LCDs and his wounds to licking

By Vlad Savov 2010 posted October 3rd 5: 46 PM man, it has guys and gals to Toshiba too hard for the proud these days. First roared the company in the optical media format wars gets, and now is it having miserably to bow out of the OLED race also. Citing a recent uptick in LCD demand in addition to the impact of recent global economic crisis, Toshiba saying his mass production plans for OLED displays now "have frozen" and new checks. This sounds like a company cut their losses to us that should make our fellow citizens OLED enthusiasts of all kinds of unhappy. It would be better be some damn fine (and thin)-LCDs in Toshiba's pipeline if it hopes to us sweet.

LG scraps plans for Froyo tablet, will wait for the next Android version

By Vlad Savov posted October 4th 2010 4: 01 AM if you needed further proof that Android not ripe is tasks enough to the tablet in its present form, here it is. An unnamed LG officials categorically amortised the possibility of his company, the production of an Android 2.2 tablets is citing Reuters. The LG informer has said that his company wants "to the most appropriate version [of Android] for our Tablet is not Froyo 2.2." This is Motorola's strategy to keep until at least the next iteration of the Google mobile OS before diving into the Tablet pool out. Still, it would be disappointing for those that took LG's words at face value, if it promised his Tablet an iPad killer-will be, this can happen yet, mind you but not in this year.
