Dutch researchers recently a new type of wireless body area network or BAN shortly. A BAN has its own IP address, the human body primarily and the new techniques demonstrated at IMEC integrate a dongle based in Eindhoven, the plug in the SD card slot, which allows a mobile phone that streaming of data from the sensors to the mobile phone in real time. The proven software that runs Android OS and uses the nRF24L01 + radio wireless standard instead of Bluetooth. So, what this means for the future of medicine? Now, sensors, people with diseases such as heart problems, or athletes in training, able to monitor their own bodies on their phones are ECG how with just a few. The technology is still in the demo stages, but it is one we are happy to see us in practice. Video is below.
