Uh oh. WeTab's Managing Director, Helmut Hoffer has its position, caught resigned using a fake identity to five-star ratings for its small MeeGo Tablet post positively. Hoffer, which originally is the WeTab fake (then known as the WePad) user interface for adding tablets to the press, posted a review on Amazon's website under the name Peter Glaser, popular member of the chaos computer club. A second glowing review was as Claudia Kaden--an account registered, apparently to Hoffer's wife booked. Of course, now he was outed has Hoffer admits that it was a mistake, that with his own name and says he published opinions without knowledge of the company. Of course, this is not the first case of blatant astroturfing we have seen hem, Belkin-- eh and it certainly will be the last. This guy's only the latest to catch.
