Microsoft's October 11 event could slate device announcements, Unicorn contain sightings.

By Vlad Savov posted October 5th 2010 7: 04 AM thought, knew that all was about Microsoft's October 11 event already know? I might do, but it is always good to some good old pepper old-fashioned rumors atop well-established facts for that extra bit of spice. Neowin cited Insider sources reporting Microsoft intends to use its Windows phone 7 as a platform for revealing his plans for than to start the Tablet realm. In particular, Steve Ballmer and crew are expected that "slate devices known will be available for the critical holiday season." We can't think of anything that would make the Redmond CEO happier, but let us not go our hopes too high building. Only a revolution by Microsoft are enough for us.

[Thanks, George]

his MyTouch HD confirmed by T-Mobile website, could freely to treaty? (update: life!)

By Sean Hollister 2010 posted October 3rd 9: 54 pm erudite tipster Abe found this small Pearl-if you are looking for "HSPA" t-mobile's online shop, POPs that top search image and as you undoubtedly with sparkling eyes can see, this is the MyTouch HD, we look up. Or maybe just "MyTouch", as is the moniker on that particular page, or even the "MyTouch 2," as the name on the small picture is appropriate. No matter what it means though, looks like it, that front-facing camera is confirmed and given our query that we would be terribly surprised if there HSPA + connectivity to had. The big question is how disappointed to if it not"as low as free prices" If the handset comes out.

Update:Tipster David R. found some additional shots of the HTC handset deep in T - Mobile's site buried - it has a black front, but the back of the unit is actually silver and Weiß.Eine 3.5 mm headset jack up top, a micro USB port on the left and a likely trigger on the right-hand side, while the rear has a camera with seemingly LED Flash and handsfree on both sides see.

Update 2:This link did not before, but is it safe now non-- it's the MyTouch and it has HSPA + all right.

Glowing Nanowires could up your life, a particle at a time when light.

Tim Stevens 2010 posted October 3rd 12: 12 pm is a gadget without LEDs without a squeeze or Apple Pie without cheese-no blinkenlights embrace no care. But what about nanoscale gadgets? Previously not things that less than LEDs natural glow your charming could offer, but now nanobots to attack your bars, bowling and good taste thanks to a new process of creating "Nano led" Babak Nikoobakht and Andrew Herzing at NIST developed. Are really just nanowires, but they have a very different composition than usual because their method of creation: horizontally grow as vines instead of vertical trees. By growing you along an gallium nitride surface the wire takes part this material's composition and, with the addition of a little electricity causes that GaN infusion the wires to shine. Where appropriate, as gallium nitride use in the manufacture of LEDs to normal size. And thus science comes full circle.
